Before You Hit the Gas: A Monday Reset for Women Who Carry Much
It’s Monday, Ladies! I hope your weekend brought rest, joy, or at least a moment to breathe. Last week we talked about getting creative with our time as we navigate work, business, and family. And as we step into a new week, one thing is clear: we will wear many hats, each with its own demand.
Some of us will walk into the office expected to be professional, sharp, and dependable.
Some of us will pour into our children—helping with homework, navigating sports schedules, and guiding them through peer pressure.
And many of us are nurturing marriages that require attention, communication, and intentionality.
It’s a lot. And if we’re honest, we’ve all had seasons where we tried to manage it in our own strength. I know I have. The result was always the same: burnout, resentment, and a slow leak of joy.
But here’s the good news—that doesn’t have to be our reality.
Before we hit the gas this week, let’s pause.
Let’s submit our to‑dos in prayer.
Let’s ask God for strength, endurance, desire, and obedience.
“Commit your activities to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” — Proverbs 16:3 (CSB)
Prayer
Lord, thank You for every woman reading this. Thank You for trusting us with the ministries of marriage, family, and business. Today we lift our many lists to You. Bring order to them. Give us endurance to accomplish each task in a way that pleases You—even if that means doing some things differently, or not at all. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Reflection Questions for Your Week
1. Which “hat” feels the heaviest for me right now, and why?
2. Where have I been operating in my own strength instead of inviting God in?
